Fashion mag site seeks street style photographer

Word abound is that a ‘top’ fashion magazine website is seeking a street style photographer.

Think you could be the next Scott Schulman for Style.com. Apply now but don’t expect to be paid much. They’ve already approached some budding photogs around Sydney-town.

On a side note, did you hear that some girl is trying to claim she’s me to get freebies?

P.S. Is it just me or is it disturbing when one of your high ranking bosses gets in the lift and has dandruff all over his designer suit?

  1. Someone is pretending to be you? now that is just scary

  2. street style is my favourite. How can we apply? I’ve got a small street style blog based in adelaide.

  3. I think its disturbing when your high-ranking boss gets in the lift with you full stop. I mean, whats etiquette there- the weather is boring, but its hardly appropriate to be talking about your latest purchase of manolo’s either!

Easy! Ask her if she has bunions. They’re in season you see. Great all chopped up with melted gorgonzola cheese on toast and a side of greens.

If she looks at you with those much-too-wide botoxed eyelids, just fill up your lungs, and give her a big blooooooooowwww ….

    Mmmnn. niiiiccceeee ….

Yes, I did say bunions, just to stay in the theme of those things we all love … shoes!

  5. re the high-ranking boss – just start dusting him off and tell him it’s highly innappropriate to come to work with cocaine all over himself.

believe it or not i actually did that once. only realised it was dandruff half way through…

  6. Which mag is looking for a street style photog? I have a friend who LOVES taking photos of randoms.

MagHag- I feel sorry for your boss, at least he’s not pretending it’s shreaded paper or flour?(yes, someone i know has tried that)*cough* teacher *cough*

  8. Funniest thing I have read all day, all year even:

    ^ puke!
    she’s so corny and fake

  10. What a career path! She definitely must wear the right shoes as it’s a big jump from production/photo editor to beauty editor.

  11. That’s nothing. What about Bazaar’s Christine Centenera? She went from Marketing Assistant to Fashion Editor. How does this happen? Where’s the experience and knowledge? Scary.

  12. Credit where credit is due though, Centenera has talent.

  13. I agree with Anon, Centenera has style and she can style.

  14. Collette Harvey from Madison went places fast too at one stage but apparently she is great at her job and a really nice girl.

Hilarious. She had to get lip gloss in there too, didn’t she? For a youngish flibbitygibbit, they sure have a blurry lens on that camera.

She looks like she’s 15 and should be on the cover of DOLLY.

Lip gloss – seems like it’s saving the planet:

“What new beauty trend are you most excited about?
“I’m so pleased that the beauty industry, and consumerism on a larger scale, is finally making a conscious effort to care for our earth and environment. From recycling and using less packaging to carbon neutral efforts, mineral products and events like Earth Hour, addressing this issue with the sense of urgency it deserves is imperative and long overdue.”

Do you say no to all those freebies containing harmful ingredients, that are tested on animals? I think not.

    This one’s a S.M.R.T one.

  16. You’re funny Anon2. Leigh Campbell should really go through ACP’s PR people and not speak for herself.

  18. oops, was just testing. and it worked.

  19. Love today’s shoe selection!

  20. I need someone to pay me money for taking pics of store windows…in ny.

Re. ‘Someone else’; True Centenara has great PERSONAL style, but i agree it rarely translates to anything ground-breaking or note-worthy!
Ripping an almost head-to-toe look from a number of chosen collections and wacking them together requires no great skill or talent…(i.e. ‘Sharp Tailoring’ spread, current Bazaar)
Lovely girl, but is no way qualified for the role at Bazaar.
But arent most Oz MagHags/fags totally unworthy of their position…it really is a joke. 99% of the Oz contingent could never hack it in say Paris, London and NYC.
Anyway, arent most Oz mags a watered down version of their International counterpart!?
Have always wondered why Oz Vogue and Harpers dis-credit themselves by having only 1 of say 3 editorials actually done by their own team…sad!

  22. I think my friend Elvis got that photographer job. If it was the one at Grazia that is.

Your contact form won’t accept my message…

    How can I contact you?

I am the photographer that’s required.

  24. I have been exploring for a bit for any high-quality articles or weblog posts in this kind of house . Exploring in Yahoo I ultimately stumbled upon this site. Reading this information So i am satisfied to express that I’ve a very good uncanny feeling I discovered exactly what I needed. I so much indubitably will make sure to don¡¦t fail to remember this web site and give it a glance a relentless basis.
